This tip-in walks through the three temptations Jesus faced:
Turn Stones to Bread: After fasting for forty days, Jesus was tempted to turn stones into bread. He responded with Scripture, reminding us that we do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from God (Matthew 4:3-4).
Throw Yourself Down: The devil tempted Jesus to throw Himself from the temple, twisting Scripture to suggest that angels would protect Him. Jesus answered with another passage, teaching that we must not put God to the test (Matthew 4:6-7).
Worship Me: The devil offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world in exchange for worship. Jesus refused, declaring that only the Lord God is worthy of worship and service (Matthew 4:9-10).
Most importantly, this tip-in reminds us that Jesus fought temptation with Scripture.
Rather than relying on arguments or giving in to the enemy's lies, Jesus responded with the truth of God's Word. His example teaches us the importance of knowing Scripture and using it to recognize and resist temptation.
This simple visual guide is perfect for studying Matthew 4, understanding the temptation of Jesus, practicing Scripture memorization, strengthening your faith, or encouraging someone in their walk with Christ.
